Women's Ministries at Faith exists to:
Worship our Heavenly Father alongside other women
Inspire women to study and grow from His Word
Serve and support women in their daily walk with Christ
Evangelize and encourage women through His Word
A house is more than brick or wood; it is more than paint colors and decorations; it is more than a place to eat and sleep and watch TV. A house is where love can either grow or die; it is a place where people either thrive or wither; it is a place where God is invited in, or He is not. Here at Women's Ministry, our objective is to help women gain the wisdom from God that will allow them to build strong, loving, Spirit-filled homes that glorify our Heavenly Father and develop truly joyful people.
Therefore, the main role of the Women's Ministry Team is to connect women with God's Word and with each other. We offer several programs throughout the year to meet this goal.
Cup of Joy is a Bible study geared for women and is held in the Mustard Seed Cafe' at the church from 9:30 -11:30 on most Thursday mornings during the school year. There are refreshments and interesting conversation for women, as well as loving childcare for preschoolers.
A Wednesday night women's Bible study is also held at the church from 6:45 to 8:30 pm. Women are welcome to join in either of theses studies at any point.
Women's Fall Retreat is a wonderful opportunity for women to quiet their souls, to seek God and His guidance, and to enjoy wonderful fellowship with new and old friends. Each year we hold these refreshing retreats for women at varying locations. Bible studies, prayer time, nature hikes, delicious food, shopping, games, laughter, deep conversations... what more could a woman want?
Special Events are offered throughout the year, such as a Christmas Tea and Spring Brunch. These events provide further opportunities for women to become known and loved, to be refreshed and inspired. Make sure to attend these events -- we all want to get to know you!
